The music on Deeper Well, the seven-time Grammy winner’s fifth album, is almost chimeric. Animals 2018 Remix - The iconic 1977 Pink Floyd album has been remixed for the first time by James Guthrie. Animals is a concept album, focusing on the social-political conditions of mid-1970s Britain, and was a change from the style of the band’s earlier work. The album was developed from a collection of unrelated songs into a concept which describes the apparent social and moral decay of society, likening the human condition to that of animals. Taking inspiration from George Orwell’s Animal Farm, the album depicts the different classes of people as animals with pigs being at the top of the social chain, dropping down to the sheep as the mindless herd following what they are told, with dogs as the business bosses getting fat on the money and power they hold over the other. Although it’s been a long time since 1977, the narrative of the album still resonates today as our social and economic situation mirrors that of the time.

Prince’s first compilation ever, The Hits 1 was released as a stand-alone album and as part of a three-CD set, The Hits/The B-Sides on September 10, 1993. Back on vinyl on 2 black vinyl LPs for the first time in decades, The Hits 1 contains 16 of Prince’s best-known singles released between 1978 and 1993 including “When Doves Cry,” “1999,” “Diamonds And Pearls,” and “Let’s Go Crazy,” along with two then-previously unreleased tracks: “Pink Cashmere” and Prince’s own rendition of “Nothing Compares 2 U,” which he had originally written for his protégé act The Family and had recently become a global hit as performed by Sinead O’Connor.

Back on vinyl for the first time in decades! Originally released in conjunction with The Hits 1 in 1993, and made available as both a stand-alone release and as part of the three-disc box set, The Hits/The B-Sides, The Hits 2 contains 18 tracks across two black vinyl LPs, including some of Prince’s most provocative singles from the first half of his career, including “Head,” “Dirty Mind,” and “Gett Off” along with huge hits like “Purple Rain,” “Kiss,” “Raspberry Beret,” and “Little Red Corvette.” In addition to the 16 popular singles from his first 15 years as a recording artist, The Hits 2 also included the then-previously unreleased tracks “Peach” and “Pope.”

Luther Vandross - Never Too Much: Greatest Hits - Vinyl 2 LP
Sony Music Vision and FoxxHole Productions produced the Luther Vandross: Never Too Much which will premiere on CNN on January 1, 2025. Directed by Dawn Porter, the film features interviews with many artists who worked with or were influenced by Luther including Mariah Carey, Roberta Flack, Jamie Foxx, Richard Marx and Dionne Warwick. As a companion piece to the documentary, Legacy will release a greatest hits album. The album features the studio versions of all the songs that were included in the documentary. The album also features 4 previously unreleased tracks including The Beatles classic "Michelle" which was recorded in June 1989.
