''Under Construction'' is the fourth studio album by American rapper Missy Elliott, released by The Goldmind Inc. and Elektra Records on November 12, 2002 (see 2002 in music) in the United States. The album was primarily produced by Timbaland, with additional production from Craig Brockman, Nisan Stewart, Errol "Poppi" McCalla and Elliott herself.
Upon release, ''Under Construction'' received universal acclaim from music critics, based on an aggregate score of 81/100 from Metacritic. The album peaked at number 3 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart and sold more than 2.1 million copies domestically, eventually becoming Elliott's highest selling album to date. In 2003, ''Under Construction'' received Grammy Award nominations for Best Rap Album and the prestigious Album of the Year.
