EVANESCENCE returns this Fall with SYNTHESIS, their fourth studio album. The group premiered “Bring Me To Life”—an instant grat track—via Rolling Stone. “’Bring Me To Life’ is new to me again after 15 years,” says AMY LEE of EVANESCENCE. It’s diffi cult to explain how good that makes me feel. Having the chance to incorporate things I’ve heard in my head throughout that long period of time, nuances from the way I sing it live, just pouring the weight and perspective of the life I’ve lived now back into that root—it’s pure satisfaction.” The two-time, GRAMMY Award-winning group is currently in the studio fi nishing the new album through August with producers Will Hunt and orchestra arranger and composer David Campbell. In addition to the re-imagined catalog songs, the forthcoming SYNTHESIS album will feature two new EVANESCENCE songs. Like the album, the “Synthesis Live” tour features a reimagining of some of EVANESCENCE’s best-loved songs with the spotlight on full orchestra and electronics combined with the band and Amy Lee’s virtuoso piano and voice. 2017 promises to be the biggest year for EVANESCENCE yet, as their intense live performances and timeless songwriting combined with a powerful live orchestra and electronics will truly deliver a transcendent experience.
