Formed in early 2005, this Orlando based indie pop rock band has swept Florida's music scene developing a solid core of sing-a-long fans. BTT has become known for their ability to create a common ground with fans by coupling powerful lyrics with infectious melodies. While most band members are below the age of 20, they still retain the ability to connect with all ages. Produced by Pete Thornton (Shinedown, Paramore) and mastered by multi-Grammy winner, Ted Jensen, Between the Trees debut album - The Story and the Song - is a collection of 11 stories put to music. The tracks elicit a range of emotions that bring the listener anywhere from dancing to tears. The Way She Feels may have them doing both. The Way She Feels and A Time for Yohe tell the story of depression, cutting, and both verbal and substance abuse. It is the story of a particular girl who recovered from a depression driven life and in turn sparked the movement To Write Love on Her Arms. With Between the Trees as its soundtrack, the musical community has embraced this non-profit organization. TWLOHA is supported by hundreds of bands and is a reflection of the power of music. The power to unite, inspire, and heal... All of which Between the Trees hopes to accomplish with their album, The Story and the Song.
