After their debut album and a successful US tour with The Soft Moon, Cold Showers took a deep breath to regroup in their hometown of Los Angeles. During this downtime, the band dropped by the KXLU 88.9 FM studios to record a few songs with Part Time Punks. Four songs recorded live in the studio on November 25, 2012 featuring a more primal, raw arrangement and energy than versions previously heard on their album, Love & Regret.
