More Info:
There are always landmark albums in the lives of classic rock artists like the multi-platinum rocker David Lee Roth. His career took off out of the box along with his bandmates Van Halen back in 1978 with their debut album, and when David released his first solo Eat ‘Em And Smile (FRM-2547), the classic rock world rewarded him with further gold and platinum accolades. Always the game changer, David and his band consisting of superstars Steve Vai (guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass) and Gregg Bissonette (drums) decided to record their Eat ‘Em And Smile album entirely in Spanish. The very rare album Sonrisa Salvaje has been out of print for quite some time….that is until now. Friday Music is honored to present another exciting installment in our David Lee Roth/Friday Music Original Master Series with his rockin’ Spanish album Sonrisa Salvaje. Featuring the entire Eat ‘Em And Smile album recorded brilliantly in Spanish, you will dig revisiting tunes like Yankee Rose, La Calle Del Tobaco (Tobacco Road) and Loco Del Calor! (Goin’ Crazy). To enhance your listening pleasure, we are including original artwork elements, and of course stellar mastering by Joe Reagoso (David Lee Roth), making this an even more rewarding listen for the fans!
