This is our third album of all original music, and we are proud of the songs, which range from rousing rockers to tender ballads, both joyful and sad. 'Dancin' Soft and Slow' is a lyrical protest against the state of modern country music, and the whole album is a musical response to current country sonic overkill. The last track, 'Dear Mom', was written and recorded in 2001, right after 9/11, based on actual letters home from troops to their families, sent during early secret deployments.
