“It’s here, hooray for Christmas!” Legacy Recordings celebrates the season with a classic offering on vinyl by Bessie Smith, The Empress of The Blues. Her seasonal favorite “At The Christmas Ball,” alongside the B-side “Jazzbo Brown From Memphis Town,” will be pressed onto RED 7” 45 RPM vinyl featuring replicas of the original Columbia 78 RPM labels. New fans will be able to discover Bessie in 2015 with a new biopic on the acclaimed blues singer, executive produced by and starring Queen Latifah.
